Double pantograph + telescope · flagship reach

Cela Essential 24P

The flagship of the Essential range. Twenty-four metres of working height and 12.5 m of outreach with 200 kg in the basket, from a truck that still weighs in at 3.5 tonnes and drives on a standard B licence — in a body barely 7.6 m long.

Why it wins

  • 24 m on a B licence

The height that normally demands a 7.5 t chassis and a C-licence driver, delivered at 3.5 t — any operator in the fleet can drive it to site.

  • Reach and payload together

12.5 m of outreach with 200 kg still in the basket, plus 9.5 m of up-and-over height overhang to clear rooflines and obstacles.

  • Flagship height, compact body

Barely 7.6 m long and under 3 m tall: a 24-metre machine that parks, travels and stabilises like a much smaller truck.

Standard equipment

Everything below is standard equipment on the Cela Essential 24P — included on every unit, not an options list.

  • Aluminium basket

Light 1400 × 700 × 1100 mm aluminium basket: full working space and 300 kg capacity for two operators, with less dead weight on the boom.

  • Automatic folding (Home function)

One command returns the boom to its transport cradle automatically — perfect stowing at the end of every job, with no closing sequence to remember.

  • Automatic jacking from basket and ground

Self-levelling outrigger deployment started from either control station: the machine sets itself up correctly in moments, on the first attempt.

  • Cables and hoses inside telescope

All hydraulic hoses and electrical cables run protected inside the boom profile: nothing to snag on structures, far less wear, easier cleaning.

  • Turret rotation 400°

More than a full turn of slewing: reach any point around the truck in one movement, without repositioning the vehicle.

  • Hydraulic basket rotation ±90°

Turn the basket hydraulically to face the work squarely — full 180° of adjustment without moving the boom or the truck.

  • Ergonomic panels (ground and basket)

Identical, clearly laid-out control panels at both stations: one logic to learn for the whole crew, fewer errors under pressure.

  • Truck cabin anti-crash system

Electronic supervision stops boom movements before they can reach the truck cabin — protecting the vehicle and the repair budget.

  • Air or water connection in basket

A dedicated air/water line piped up the boom feeds pneumatic tools or washing lances directly at height.

  • Clearance lights

High-visibility clearance lighting keeps the vehicle outline clearly marked during road transfer and early-morning or night set-ups.

  • Electronic slope sensor

Constantly monitors chassis inclination during set-up and work, keeping stabilisation inside safe limits — including on ramps up to 11°.

  • 220 Vac socket in basket

Mains power available at height for drills, grinders, lamps and chargers — no extension cord dangling down the boom.

  • 12 Vdc socket in basket

Low-voltage supply in the basket for radios, chargers and accessories, straight from the machine.

  • Safety hydraulic handpump

Manual emergency pump: the basket can always be brought down safely, even with the engine stopped or complete power loss.

  • Safety valves flanged on all cylinders

Mounted directly on each cylinder, with no hose in between: the boom holds its position even in the event of a hydraulic line failure.

  • Automatic PTO release system

The power take-off disengages by itself when it should: the driveline is protected from oversight, every single day.

  • Centring indicator light

Tells the operator at a glance when the turret is centred — quick, certain checks before stowing or driving off.

  • Compensated proportional valves

Load-independent hydraulic control: movements stay smooth and precise whether the basket is empty or carrying its full 300 kg.

  • Cataphoresis + powder coating

The full structure is immersed in a cataphoresis anti-corrosion bath, then powder coated: automotive-grade protection that keeps its finish — and its resale value — for the whole fleet life.

  • Ipercela 4.0 GSM eDiagnostic

Remote diagnostics over GSM: CELA technicians can read the machine from the factory, anticipate service and cut downtime to a minimum.

  • Warning sound signal

An acoustic signal accompanies machine movements, keeping ground personnel aware around the working area.
